Bits and Pieces

For Today, March 19th...

Outside my window... It's dark.  It's nighttime and I think all the spring basketball players have finally gone home.

I am thinking... About tomorrow.  It's going to be a crazy day.  It's Sunday, which makes it crazy anyway, but Justin is preaching x2, I have nursery, we have dinner at our house for the GO Team, I have to get to the Drop and Shop 50% sale to get Eli's spring and summer clothes and then Justin has an evening meeting from 7:30-1o:30. AAAHHHH!!!

I am thankful for... Forgiveness.  I was so a selfish grump this morning and my husband was so gracious.

From the kiddos... ELI is learning to sing the Doxology.  It is "her song" and I sing it to her every night before bed.  We sing it once a week for our evening supper prayer as well.  But she wants to sing it every night for prayer.  Watching her little lips form the words is the most precious thing ever!  ADDISON is exited about a new "game".  123 Magic.  Not really a game - but he thinks it is, so we're going with it.  Day 2 and he received no 3's, so a sticker goes on the self control chart.  Way to go, A!!  SAM is starting to sit up for a few moments at a time.  He is back to eating cereal once a day and really loving it!

From the kitchen... last night I made my homemade pasta dish again - rotolone.  So amazing!!!

I am wearing... I think this is kind of a weird question - but the answer is, my pjs.

I am creating... pillows for my rockers on the porch.  I recovered my kitchen cushions and have extra fabric that I love.  The colors would look great out there!

I am going... to loose it if Spring doesn't get her behind over here soon!  Yesterday was such a tease!

I am reading... The Ring Sets Out.  Last time I wrote one of these I was just filling time with The Hobbit again.  After finishing it, I just had to move on to the series again.    Love it!!

I am hoping... the aches in my back go away soon and the headache to quickly follow!

I am hearing... Some tv show on in the background, but I'm not paying attention.  There is nothing on on Saturday nights!

One of my favorite things today... Antiquing with my fam.  Addison was disappointed when he realized it wasn't the mall, but quickly got excited about looking for "treasures".  He found some (only to play with while we were there) and was won over, although his daddy did get excited over a collection of Looney Toon cartoons on DVD, which we are now the excited owners of...  I found some treasures too - a bright red Captains Chair for the kitchen and a huge, beautiful old framed picture of Rome for the dining room wall.

A few plans for the rest of the week... Well, the week is over, but next week begins our first ever Frank Family March Holiday.  More to come on that later!
