Day 3

Day 3 of my sugar free life...

I'm lovin' it!  Seriously, I feel really good.  It's been 3 days of up at 6am for prayer and devos before heading to the Y at 7.  Justin and I both really want this, so it's been pretty easy to not hit the snooze when it goes off in our still dark room (but the smell of coffee already made by our wonderful coffee pot w/timer helps out too!)  At the Y I've watched the news (which I never get to see, but really love to when I can!) while running on the treadmill.

Day 1 I pushed myself to run 2 miles straight.  I've never done that.  I knew I could do it, so I just did.  Day 2 I tried again, but only got to .5 mile before my knee really started hurting, so I walked the rest and did 2.5 miles.  Day 3 I ran the 2 miles again.  I love leaving in the morning and arriving home to kids already breakfasted and occasionally already dressed.

I was telling Justin when I got back that it's probably only mental, it's only been 3 days, but I feel great!  And you know what, if it is just mental, that's fine because for me that's where the battle lies.
