This Year's Garden

These tomatoes were mostly picked by my lovely daughter who has no clue that picking the green tomatoes right now is just not helpful.  I found a crazy looking recipe for green tomatoes that I will be trying out in the next few days, so watch for the recipe (if it ends up being any good!)
Addison in his "tomato jungle".  I planted 4 types of tomatoes this year.  The slicers are doing the worse, the cherrys, by far the best!  They are taking over!!
In this picture, you can see the chard, strawberries, and red peppers.
The peas were on the tee pees at the end of the row.  There are onions in front and basil in the pot.  Last year I did my basil in the ground and it was completely eaten by something.  This year I have 5 pots of basil and they are going crazy!!  Pesto, here I come!  Growing on the stakes in front are my first year raspberries.

Raspberries and zinnias.

These are the plum tomatoes that were waiting to be made into salsa.

Addison's bowl of cherry tomatoes that never made it in the house...
...and my bowl that did.  Lastly, the YUMMIEST strawberries ever!
