Home Sweet Home - Move in Edition

So as you can see by the last post - September 2013! - I haven't had a whole lot of time to do the bloggy thing.  But now that we've moved and we miss a whole lot of people and a whole lot of people ask to see pics of Maine life, I thought I'd at least start uploading some pictures.  Pictures of Maine, Augusta, our fam, life.

Let's start with our new home.  I've never done a visual "walk though" so we'll start there.  This is how the house looked the day we toured it for the 2nd time (making sure we really wanted to put an offer on it.)

Left side of the house.  They took the hoop :(
Our sweet, quiet street
Holly bush is already gone.  Not a fan of the walk way...
front lawn
right side of the house
Entering through the breezeway that connects the garage to the house.  I LOVE this room.
Another angle of it.
When entering through the breezeway door, the *tiny* kitchen is on your right.
Check out all the brown and green!
...and Dark Shades.  Aaah!
Right in front of you as you enter, is a doorway downstairs to the "unfinished" basement.

There is TONS of storage in this house.
Laundry room and extra fridge!
Love the utility sink!!  Through that door in the back is an unfinished bathroom...
Voila!
Justin gets a Workshop!
Back upstairs...When you walk past the kitchen, you also walk past the "dining room" on your left and into the Living Room.

Another angle of the Living room.  A fireplace!!!
Looking back into the also *very small* dining room.

Off the living room is our room...this is the only "before" picture I have :)

This is the bath between our room and the guest room.

Also off the living room is the guest room

Behind the fireplace is the office.

Off the other side of the living room is the "kids wing".

A whole wall of closets!

Also off the kids wing is the stairs to the family room.

And that's our house!!!  ...Well, how it looked when we bought it.  Next post will be the house as it looks 5 months later.
