Bits and Pieces

Outside My Window... the dark of night is slowly approaching

I am thinking... what else needs to get in the van before we pull out in 6 hours?

I am thankful for... some time away!  It's been a long time since we've been to see my family in Virginia.

From the kiddos...Samuel (7mo.) is crawling from room to room, pulling himself up on his knees to peer into high places and moving from a crawling position back into a sitting up position.  Crazy!!

From the kitchen... The fridge is empty!  The snacks have been packed.

I am creating...memories.  Our first road trip for our family of 5. 

I am going...  TO VA!

I am reading... Anna Karenina - I have never read it and its been sitting on my shelf for years.

I am hoping...that all the rain forecasted for Lynchburg goes FAR FAR AWAY!

I am hearing...the dishwasher run.

Around the house... Kids are sleeping, bags are packed, it looks pretty clean, almost time to head to bed!

One of my favorite things this week...Mother's Day.  Justin and I took a nap on the couch together in the sun after eating take-out for lunch.  Perfect!
