7 months of arranging & painting!!!!!!

Well, it's been over 7 months since our move to the downstairs parsonage. In that time, soooo much has happened and I just haven't had a chance to show what we've been working on or how much help we've had to get it all done! It's been really fun and have more plans for this year. I have a bunch of before and after pictures, but think I'll show them one room at a time starting with the LIVING ROOM...

Okay, so this was the "before", and as we were testing the living room and dining room wall colors. We went with...

In the above picture, you can also see into the dining room...

We really wanted some sort of cabinet for our big, ugly tv and thanks to my mother-in-law's suggestion started to look on craigslist. We found one on the first day, it only needed a little help...

You can also see through the living room here and into the foyer. This area is unfinished and needs a lot of work. It may or may not be done this year.

FOYER:

This is the yucky, yucky ceiling of the hall outside Eli and Addison's rooms. The once beautiful stairs wind down to the front foyer...

And this is my dream of what it could look like someday...



Tomorrow I'll move on to the other downstairs rooms...
