So, we've been to Oregon and back. Addison once again did great on the plane, but not so great upon arrival. Besides getting sick, we just saw more of his personality shine through. It's pretty amazing getting to know him and being given a chance to learn who he is. Outside of our influence and his environment, there's still a whole lot left that God created as uniquely Addison.
Addison seems to be on the whole - shy. At least with people he doesn't know or is not yet comfortable with yet. He enters a new situation and clings pretty close to mom and dad until he's gotten the lay of the land and the people there, and then, in his own timing, he approaches people. We've seen people approach him time and time again and it doesn't go over so well, but when he is in control of who he approaches and how he goes about it, things go a whole lot smoother.
Anyway, so there was that whole Addison in his comfort zone we had to deal with and the weather really wasn't that great, but family time was as entertaining as always, and it was the Rose Festival week, so that's always a wet, but good time.
